I experienced quite a lot of stress during my thirties, which I certainly believe had a detrimental effect on my health and fertility. While I am now blessed with two children, I know all too well that modern life can be really hectic and mess up our hormones. As I entered my forties, I started experiencing subtle hormonal changes. I wasted no time in making adjustments to my diet and lifestyle, knowing that my hormones would thank me for it. 

I’m glad I had these experiences, as it helps me relate to what my clients are going through. Whether you’re in your 20’s, your 50’s or beyond, hormonal imbalances can wreak havoc on health and quality of life. Not only do hormones affect our energy levels, digestion and waistline, but also our mood, sleep quality, skin health, libido, fertility and brain health. This is why I start with a thorough 90-minute consultation and work with you to find the root causes of your symptoms. I will provide you with personalised tools to support your health and balance your hormones naturally with diet, nutritional supplements and lifestyle adjustments. I also support women who are taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT), tailoring each person’s nutritional advice in line with their prescribed medications. I want to help everyone feel empowered and better as a result.

Hormone testing

 

I can offer a comprehensive range of hormone tests, including the DUTCH Test (Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones), and a complete thyroid function test. If you’d like me to investigate further, I am also trained to look at genetic testing to further personalise my dietary recommendations and support hormone balance based on your unique genetic make-up.
